Savory has been revolutionizing food on-demand as New York City’s first delivery-only restaurant. Since 2011, Savory’s diverse and award-winning team has leveraged their many years of experience at top restaurants, technology companies, and startups to create compelling cuisine, carefully conceived to travel. Our team is led by veterans from both inside and outside of hospitality, including Bouley, Jean-Georges, Momofuku, Canyon Ranch, The Mandarin Oriental, Whole Foods, Union Square Hospitality Group, DuoLingo, Google, McKinsey & Company, Convene and more.  We are constantly striving to improve the experience of fresh food delivery while continuing to find new ways to incorporate sustainable, local and responsible products into Savory’s expansive offerings. Our 39th street headquarters also includes a showroom and take-out counter, and is open to the public during lunch hours. If you pay us a visit you can catch a glimpse behind the scenes of our 10,000 square foot kitchen and try a selection of some of the many sandwiches, salads, creative entrees and desserts that we offer as part of our expansive delivery menu.

Your Role

 

You are responsible for maintaining the quality and consistency of contact to the existing client base created by the BDM. You will be the main liaison and will provide the utmost in customer service and aims to become a trusted advisor in all things Savory. The main focus of the RM is to create an environment of consistent and repeat orders that will become the basis of all Savory revenue.

 

Requirements

Daily Responsibilities

·         Sets bold aspirations and a clear vision for the development of the relationship

·         Works in tandem with the BDM to retain up to 90% of Savory’s current client roster

·         Sets and executes a client relationship strategy that defines which issues to focus on, which opportunities to pursue, and which individuals to invest in

·         Develops long term client relationships through entertainment, face to face meetings and setting up client events

·         Creates, manages, and leads the team, providing appropriate coaching and mentoring along the way

·         Is perceived as a thought leader by senior client executives. Facilitates the development of a vision for the overall success of the company, business area, or function

·         Understand conflict resolution and works expeditiously to resolve any and all issues immediately to the clients satisfaction

·         Identifies, mobilizes, and delivers into the relationship the right people, solutions, resources, and ideas from across the firm

·         Successfully undertakes long term contract negotiations, ensures financial success, and monitors quality

Required Skills/Experience:

·         A self-starter with a track record of successful, sales development at multiple seniority levels within an organization

·         Experience with start-up environments and highly-transactional models

·         Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and with multiple departments including sales, marketing, events, HR, and executive offices

·         Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

·         Ability to train, coach, and mentor Business Development Reps and interns

·         4-year College degree required
